Thanks to all of you for your heartfelt e-mails and advice regarding my last post. Many of you have told me of your experiences with loss of friendship or love. Many of you have told me that when a friendship like mine happens that it is rare and that every day is sort of an odd blessing. I think that is true. In a world with so much pain, doubt, ignorance, death and hurt it is wonderful to have true friends. I think if more of us strove to be honest, true, supportive friends to each other – to be Lilies – that life would be so much better for all.
I will always have this friend with me – his words will stay with me – and no one can take that away from me. I feel honestly priveleged to have known him and to have been able to call him my friend. I know that in my life there will be very few people whom I really value as true friends, and I am grateful to have had one.
So, in honor of that – I am elevating myself to a new consciousness. In light of that, I felt that THIS song was particularly inspiring. Please enjoy one of the BEST U2 songs ever composed and feel ELEVATED today!
